PLEASE NOTE: WOMANHOOD REVIVAL is not business as usual , this is INTENSIVE DISCIPLESHIP to birth and employ capable vessels of The Holy Spirit and laborers for harvest on the threshing floor.
Discipleship refers to the journey of devotion to Jesus Christ and learning of Him (His being) and doings in obedience to The Father God, as well as His yielding to The Holy Spirit.
In the New Testament, discipleship is exemplified through the early apostles (as well as those who later joined) who Jesus called to forsake their former lives and comfort to follow Him selflessly and closely as their investments into the purposes of God. As they remained devoted, Jesus sent them out two by two to exercise the practicalities of the wisdom and impartation they received from Him. After the crucifixion and resurrection of The Christ Jesus, He remained with them for 40 days—to further perfect them. Before Jesus ascendence, He gave them a crucial command on receiving the baptism of The Holy Spirit for greater works: Luke 24:49 “And, behold, I send The Promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”
This crucial command alone inform us that none can be a witness of The LORD Jesus unless we are filled and graced by The Holy Spirit—to bear witness is one of the many reasons why we’re discipled.
Discipleship also shape our hearts in LOVE, PURITY, JUSTICE, SACRIFICE, HUMILITY, and SERVICE. Discipleship is not solely for expressing power but it’s also for inward transformation where The Holy attributes of God is evident in your life—it’s a lifelong journey of spiritual growth and on going transformation to challenge the corrupting appetites of the flesh. It involves being a student and a doer of God’d Word, consistently engaging in prayer without ceasing and fasting, and cultivate devotion to obedience in spirit and in truth by yielding all your heart, all your soul and all your mind to the governance of The Holy Spirit. Without acknowledging and yielding to The Grace and Power of The Holy Spirit as your Helper and Teacher, you cannot bear fruit— Jesus says in John 15:2 “Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”
Lastly, the emphasis of discipleship is not only for your own personal growth in the knowledge of God but to also enable you to make other disciples—thus fulfilling the Great Commission as outlined in Matthew 28:19-20.
Being prepared for war is another reason for proper discipleship, you need to be aware of satan as the enemy of your soul and how to fend off his deceptions and wickedness. Soldiers receive strategic training and mentoring to have knowledge and understanding of their enemy. They will inevitably lose if they are sent into a battlefield uninformed, immature, and unable to appropriately wield their weapons against their opponents. Many Christians feel frustrated and disheartened because they assume that salvation is only related to keeping church attendance and participating in religious activities will “automatically“ solve all issues. However, they’re still completely unaware of the demonic spiritual implications surrounding their daily circumstances and are responsible for their demises; failing to understand that FREEDOM IS NOT BY CHANCE—but through knowledge shall the just be delivered (Proverbs 11:9).
Regrettably, some would rather blame God than coming into the dimension of KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND WISDOM REQUIRED TO HAVE DOMINION according to His Word in Genesis 1:28 “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
